Thanks to the flow speed of the water of approx. 10 km/h on the Upper Drau, paddling in our inflatable boats with little effort is well suited for the whole family and children. We are currently supplying the route Berg to Sachsenburg, a very nice section with a net travel time (without breaks) of approx. 3 hours (June/July/August), depending on water levels. In September/October the ride could take 1-2 hours longer due to water levels. The Drau still is an unregulated river where levels can vary depending on weather.
Boat pick-up is possible with self-check-in between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., return is possible until 8:00 p.m. After the tour you simply return the borrowed material (see instructions) and we will take care of the rest. Please note that we do not provide passenger transport. Paddling on the Drau is doable for everyone – assuming you have a bit of a sporting disposition. We are of course available to advise you on the tour. There is limited parking available in the boat rental area and we do not offer any. We recommend arriving by train, as it stops close to our entrances and exits. At the Berg and Sachsenburg Markt train stations you will find free Park + Ride parking spaces for rail customers.
