Paddling is possible for everyone, provided you have a bit of athletic ability. Thanks to the river's flow speed of around 10 km/h, paddling in our inflatable boats is suitable for the whole family and children with little physical exertion. A very beautiful section with a net travel time (without breaks) of 3-4 hours at normal water levels (July/August). We recommend to view the water levels on the bottom of our website.
(Here are some helpful guidelines measured at the water level in Telfs: water level 300cm corresponds to approx. 3-4 hours travel time, water level 225cm corresponds to approx. 4-5 hours travel time, water level 150cm corresponds to approx. 5-6 hours travel time. All information without guarantee.)
The boat can be handed over at the starting point between 11:00 a.m. and 13:00 p.m., and returned at the end point until 6 p.m. or by arrangement. There are limited parking spaces available in the area around the boat rental and we do not offer any. We recommend arriving by train as it stops close to our embarkation and disembarkation points. Please note that we do not provide passenger transport.
